The Role:
We are looking for a Senior Business Development Manager to be responsible for growing long-term top line revenue of the agency across EMEA (with a strong focus on DE, supporting IT & SE) by leading the growth and marketing agenda.

The Role:
We are looking for a Senior Business Development Manager to be responsible for growing long-term top line revenue of the agency across EMEA (with a strong focus on DE, supporting IT & SE) by leading the growth and marketing agenda.
Growth Tasks
- Works with CEO and CFO on setting and achieving yearly growth targets
- Manages Business Development budget in order to achieve yearly goal
- Co-responsible for hitting yearly new business target across the region
- Collating targets list
- Developing prospect client contact plans
- Leading creation of prospecting materials (i.e., email notes, thought leadership)
- Builds and leads relationships with senior clients from initial interaction through to closing
- Manages relationships with pitch consultants, keeping them up to date with agency news and generating maximum value from our ‘fees’/’subscriptions’
- Identifies and leads efforts for areas of new capability growth and strategic partnerships in the region in collaboration with Central Growth Team
- Leads new business pitches from RFI through to final pitch delivery, managing resourcing, creating all pitching materials, and coordinating cross-functional pitch teams (from T&P and WPP partners) to deliver winning submissions
- Sets organic growth goals with Client Leads, supporting them with requisite materials and resource to help them achieve targets
- Is the conduit between ‘the market’ and the agency, keeping leadership up to date with industry developments that might impact the business
- Well versed in the language of data, technology, media, creativity, and operations. The candidate will need to wear many hats and be deeply knowledgeable in what we’re selling.
- Highly business minded, eager to work towards commercial growth every single day
- Collaborative by nature, able to cultivate contexts for collaboration across disciplines, seniorities, cultures, and time zones
- Able to dive into details without losing sight of the bigger strategic picture
- Empathetically minded, able to get a variety of characters and personalities to work towards the same goal in relative harmony
- Strong project management skills, with proven record of managing multiple stakeholders to aggressive timelines and high standards
- Comfortable in the boardroom; able to communicate with senior leaders as well as junior employees
- Reliably high-quality presenter, able to present articulately and inspiringly to CMOs as well as junior brand managers
- Thrives in high pressure scenarios, able to keep calm and think fast on the spot
- The expected range of exceptional written and communication skills, marcom and industry knowledge, and attention to detail
- Previous experience in a creative agency would be a bonus
