The job

For our long-standing and renowned customer from the IT service industry, we are looking for an IT technician for user support (m/f/d) in Cologne Porz.

The tasks

• On-site support of a rather heterogeneous IT environment in a scientific environment
• Support for users with technical questions and problems in the IT area
• Installation, configuration and maintenance of hardware and software components
• Documentation of customer inquiries and solutions
• Linux client installations Ubuntu / Red Hat
  
  

The requirements

Completed vocational training in the IT sector or a comparable qualificationPreferably also sound professional experience in the service desk or in comparable IT activitiesideally experience in supporting larger IT environments with the help of common tools such as ticket systems etc.Good knowledge of operating systems and standard software, focus on Microsoft clients, Linux knowledge is an advantageGood communication skills and independent working styleGood written and spoken German language skills, EU citizenship and a valid driver's licenseYou have direct contact with end users, good manners, a well-groomed appearance and an open and respectful communication style are essential!
