About The Opportunity

We’re hiring for an ambitious start-up based in Cologne, Germany, developing smart digital infrastructure solutions in the real estate and cloud services sector. With strong funding and a clear vision, the company is now looking for a Cloud Engineer (m/f/d) to help design and build secure, scalable cloud architecture from the ground up.

Your Tasks

• Design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS (or Azure / GCP)
• Develop and manage infrastructure as code using Terraform or similar tools
• Implement robust monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions
• Automate deployments and improve reliability of distributed systems
• Ensure cloud security, scalability, and cost-efficiency
• Collaborate with developers and DevOps to create CI/CD pipelines
• Evaluate and implement new cloud services and DevOps tools
  
  

Your Profile

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent hands-on experience
• 3+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure engineering
• Deep knowledge of AWS (alternatively Azure or Google Cloud)
• Proficiency with Terraform, Ansible, or other automation tools
• Experience with Docker and container orchestration (Kubernetes is a plus)
• Comfortable in Linux environments and scripting (Bash, Python)
• Fluent in English (company language); German not required
• Passionate about start-ups, agile teams, and modern engineering culture
