You're in good company here. We're a close-knit team of 12 talented designers from 6 nations, 100% focused on creating exceptional digital experiences. There's no development department, or middle management to dilute your creative vision. In our Cologne studio, you'll work alongside passionate designers who inspire each other daily. When clients work with DUMBO, they collaborate directly with the people who create the impact. And that will include you.

The job:

• Focus 100 percent on developing great digital products that help users progress and businesses succeed.
• Develop and execute digital design solutions for mid to large-scale projects, encompassing UX, UI, interaction, and visual design.
• Create, evolve and refine design systems for scaling with the highest quality and efficiency from design to code and across multiple products. 
• Collaborate closely with client product teams, understanding their objectives and aligning design strategies accordingly.
• Ensure high-quality graphics standards and brand consistency throughout the design process and down to the details.
• Manage time and resources effectively in an environment without dedicated project managers to stay ahead of the curve.
• Consult clients on design issues and help them make decisions that lead to product success.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

• A compelling portfolio demonstrating your digital product design expertise
• Design education from a university or design school
• Commitment to working full-time in-person at our Cologne studio

Preferred Qualifications:

• 4+ years crafting digital products that deliver measurable outcomes
• The ability to seamlessly blend strategic thinking with hands-on design execution
• A collaborative spirit that thrives in our international, multi-disciplinary team
• Confidence to present your ideas with clarity and sound reasoning
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
