Job Highlights

• Drive application of eAuctions as part of the overall procurement strategy within all procurement categories in LANXESS
• Develop toolbox including strategy framework, manuals, supplier communication, case examples, templates
• Act as a thought partner and challenger to strategic buyers along the procurement strategy definition process and provide expertise on types/specifics of eAuctions suitable for respective supply context
• Provide expertise on eAuction platforms/systems available at LXS to strategic buyers. Coordinate necessary technical onboardings for buyers and suppliers with respective providers or LXS internal systems team (GPOS). Continuously evaluate new eAuction systems and platforms
• Analyse spend data in material groups and derive action areas for eAuction application
• Responsibility for the conceptual development of continuous eAuction learning journey and change management with strategic buyers and eAuction ambassadors
• Act as multiplier and expert for eAuctions during development of procurement strategies side-by-side with strategic buyers
• Establish monthly progress reporting process of eAuction KPIs and pipeline
• Connect data from different systems in use
  
  

Requirements

• Master's degree (MBA) in Information Systems / Commercial IT
• Several years of experience with eAuction applications
• Commercial background
• Profound knowledge of eAuction application in procurement
• Strong communication, change management and concept development skills
• Technical eAuction tool knowledge, combined with a high level of system affinity
• Fluent in English, German skills are desirable
