Your tasks

• You will support and advise our customers in setting up and maintaining complex CI/CD pipelines for container-based architectures.
• You automate the provisioning of infrastructures using modern infrastructure-as-code tools in cloud and on-premises environments.
• In collaboration with software development teams, you will be involved in the containerization of applications and actively contribute your expertise to the development process.
• You advise, train and support our customers in the introduction and further development of DevOps processes, tools and methods
• You develop automation scripts in Go, Python or Bash to optimize technical processes
• You will implement technical security standards in containerized environments and ensure compliance with proven best practices and relevant industry standards
• You create and maintain technical documentation and define and establish best practices in the area of DevOps
• In line with our guiding principle "Knowledge is multiplied by sharing it", you will pass on your expertise to others - both to your colleagues and our students as well as in projects with customers. You can also share your knowledge in our ORDIX blog ( https://blog.ordix.de /), as a speaker in our seminars or at specialist conferences - depending on your strengths.
  
  

Your profile

• Sound experience with container technologies and orchestration (e.g. Kubernetes, OpenShift, Rancher)
• Practical experience in setting up and operating complex CI/CD pipelines
• Confident handling of infrastructure-as-code technologies such as Terraform, OpenTofu or Ansible
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Grafana
• Strong willingness for continuous training and knowledge expansion
• Good (technical) university degree in computer science or comparable completed training desirable
• Certifications from the major public cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP) advantageous
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Perfect written and spoken German and good English skills

• Container orchestration: Red Hat OpenShift, Rancher, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS)
• CI/CD tools: GitLab, GitHub, Azure DevOps, AWS CodeCommit/CodeDeploy, GCP Cloud Build, Argo CD, Jenkins, Nexus, Harbor
