Business Events Manager - #2200344

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Business Events Manager to join our team and drive the planning and execution of impactful internal and external events.
In this role, you will take ownership of designing, organizing, and delivering high-quality business events – from hybrid stakeholder meetings and conferences to hands-on workshops and internal team gatherings – that align with our strategic objectives and values.


Your main duties will be:

Event Strategy, Management and Execution:

• You will lead the end-to-end planning and execution of specific ISCC’s internal and external events, including conferences, stakeholder meetings, webinars, workshops, hybrid, and in-person formats.
• You will develop event concepts and agendas in collaboration with internal teams and senior leadership, ensuring alignment with ISCC’s strategic goals, communication standards, and sustainability vision.
• You will coordinate speakers, partners, vendors, budgets, and logistics, and ensure smooth delivery from planning to post-event evaluation.
• You will manage and support AV setups and event technology, delivering a professional experience across all formats – both onsite and remotely.
• You will act as the main contact for participants and stakeholders, managing communication, registration, feedback, and providing professional hosting and technical support.
• You will foster engagement and collaboration through internal events and team activities that reflect ISCC’s core values and support a positive, inclusive culture

• You will manage and evaluate event systems and tools (e.g. Zoom, Slido, LMS, Eventbrite) and stay up to date on relevant market developments and trends.
• You will ensure accurate data handling and comprehensive documentation of all event activities, logistics and budgets.
• You will continuously improve event-related processes to enhance participant experience, efficiency, and scalability.

• You will collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to coordinate schedules, resource allocation, and participant communication.
• You will ensure clear and effective communication with remote and onsite participants, managing logistical details and expectations.
• You will contribute your expertise and ideas to strengthen team coordination and support the ongoing improvement of event quality.

• University degree (Master) in Event- or Project Management, Business Administration, Communications, Sustainability or another related field
• At least 2 years professional experience
• At least 2 years of relevant work experience in e.g. stakeholder-focused business event management
• Proven experience organizing online, onsite and hybrid business events including AV setups and coordination
• Excellent English language skills (written and spoken); German language skills of advantage
• Confident managing digital platforms, data bases and tools (i.a. Zoom, Slido, WordPress, Publicate and similar)
• Proficiency with Mac and MS Office tools (Teams, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, Outlook); strong general IT affinity
