Meet the team behind this journey

DeepL's Legal team seeking a Legal Counsel to join their Go-to-Market (GtM) Legal team within the growing Legal department. As a Legal Counsel at DeepL, you will work closely with our GtM Legal team, the wider GtM team and other legal professionals and stakeholders to provide critical support and assistance across a range of legal matters. Your Responsibilities

• Review and negotiate a variety of complex commercial agreements, including SaaS, MSA, DPAs with B2B customers.
• Provide the Go-to-Market (GtM) team with advice on a wide variety of commercial legal matters.
• Support the improvement of internal processes within the GtM organisation.
• Support the development of and maintain the templates of the GtM Legal team.
• Draft and conduct training and self-help materials and guidelines for both the GtM and the GtM Legal team.
• Provide administrative support for legal documentation.
  
  

Qualities we look for

• Fully qualified lawyer or comparable with an above-average degree and at least two years of experience working in internal legal departments (preferably in a technology company).
• Understanding of the challenges of a fast-growing company.
• Experience in reviewing and negotiating B2B contracts (in English, preferably also in another language).
• Experience with SaaS contracts.
• Excellent communication skills, comfortable working with the GtM team.
• Fluency in English, and additional language skills are an advantage.
• Ability to think on your feet, adapt quickly to changing priorities and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
