Job Description:

We’re an early-stage FinTech founded by an experienced team who have built multi-million Euro startups before. With our new venture, we are entering a regulated 100-billion-Euro market, backed by unicorn founders, senior industry executives, and global tier 1 VC investors. You’ll have the opportunity to join a fast-scaling startup as one of the first employees, working directly with the founders and shaping the future of our product. We are looking for a Software Developer intern to join us full-time as soon as possible.

Your Role:

As an Intern for Software Development, you will be at the forefront of developing innovative software applications in our Fintech startup, directly impacting our mission to deliver seamless pension solutions. You will work closely with the founding team and the entire tech and product division, contributing to the overall quality and performance of our product portfolio.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement software features that align with our product's strategic vision, delivering innovative and user-centric solutions.
• Contribute to the development of backend applications using TypeScript and the Nest.js framework for robust, scalable solutions.
• Contribute to the development of web applications using TypeScript and React, leveraging the Next.js framework for robust, scalable solutions.
• Work collaboratively with product management and the technology team to conceptualize features that add significant value to user experiences and business objectives.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from ideation and development to deployment and iteration, ensuring continual enhancement of product offerings.
• Explore and integrate cutting-edge technologies and methodologies to advance the platform's capabilities and drive technological excellence.
• Participate in code reviews and adhere to best practices in software development to maintain high-quality standards.
• Embrace an innovative agile development environment, swiftly responding to changing requirements and priorities, and contributing to iterative product evolution.
• Commit to personal growth by staying informed of the latest industry trends and expanding your technical expertise through continuous learning and experimentation.

Your Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, AI, or a related field.
• Demonstrable knowledge or experience with our tech stack (TypeScript, Nest.js, Next.js, React, Tailwind, MongoDB, Redis, AWS, Terraform), with a portfolio or projects to showcase your work.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to think algorithmically.
• Innovative mindset with a passion for technology and problem-solving in a dynamic startup environment.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with fluency in English. German language skills are a plus.
• Self-motivated and eager to learn in a fast-paced setting, with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
