We’re Hiring: Director, Health, Environment, Safety & Sustainability (HESS)

Global role | Cologne-Germany (on-site) | ~25% international travel

Shape Global HESS & ESG Strategy

We are looking for a senior HESS leader to drive our global Health, Environment, Safety & Sustainability agenda across international operations.

This is a high-impact role with direct exposure to executive leadership and the Board, focused on embedding a strong safety culture, ensuring compliance, and advancing ESG performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead global HESS strategy, policies, and standards
• Partner with senior leadership to embed ESG into business strategy
• Oversee audits, risk management, and compliance
• Drive proactive safety culture and improvement
• Lead incident investigations and learning
• Develop global HESS talent
• Manage ESG reporting and KPIs

Ideal Candidate:

• Extensive HSE experience in industrial environments
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Experience working with executive leadership
• Knowledge of global regulations and ESG frameworks
