New Business Manager Cybersecurity (NRW): Drive new customer acquisition for SOC and Managed Security Services, generate qualified B2B leads and accelerate Northwave’s growth across the DACH market
We are looking for you as New Business Manager for the region Germany West
Your Mission
As a
Hunter for our SOC service
, you operate at the forefront of the market. You identify new business opportunities for Northwave and manage them independently from first contact through to contract signing
You recognise untapped potential within mid-sized and large organisations and approach target customers in the
DACH region
with persistence, structure and conviction. With your understanding of cyber threats, regulatory requirements and operational security challenges, you position our
SOC and Incident Response services
as clear added value
Your network is your capital. You leverage existing contacts and continuously expand them through targeted outreach, presence at industry events and active networking within our target industries. Your goal is to open doors, initiate conversations at executive level and position Northwave early on as a strong security partner
You work closely with Sales, Marketing and more than
275 security experts
who support you with expertise and strong content. Your
hunter mindset
, drive and network make a significant contribution to Northwave’s growth in the DACH region
What can you expect from us?
First things first: you will receive a remote employment contract with
30 days' holiday
per year. You can organise your own working hours in consultation with your colleagues and customers
What do you want to achieve and what support do you need? You will receive
regular training and support
in achieving your professional goals. You can also develop further within Northwave
It is important to us to respect and value each other - as professionals and as people. The best way to get to know your 275+ colleagues from the Netherlands, Germany, Austria, Belgium and Sweden is to take part in one of
our many activities
, such as a trip to the theme park
You will be equipped with a modern
MacBook and iPhone
. We have height-adjustable desks in our offices and our CEO loves to kit us out with merchandise ;-)
A
company car
, also for private use, is a matter of course in this position. Of course, we also pay travelling allowances
what else..
No, the fruit basket in the office is not a benefit for us, but a matter of course - just like coffee, tea and lemonade. Have you ever tried Dutch caramel waffles?
Job requirements
The most important thing for us is that you fit into the team and are keen to help shape and advance Northwave. Of course, we also have a few technical requirements for this position
Education
You have a relevant degree or vocational qualification. A degree in business, business informatics or IT is helpful. But perhaps an apprenticeship in the hospitality industry or a master's degree in promenadology (science of walking) has also led you into sales. This detail does not play a major role for us
Knowledge and experience
You have proven experience in selling security and/or SOC services and bring extensive background in B2B sales, particularly in lead generation for managed services
You are confident in presenting both entry‑level offerings and complex service contracts, successfully driving deals through to signature. Even if you do not come from an IT background, you demonstrate solid technical understanding and a genuine interest in cybersecurity
Over several years, you have built and maintained a strong network of decision‑makers within the upper mid‑market, which you actively leverage to create new business opportunities
Other strengths
Networking is more than a skill for you – it’s a passion. You proactively approach new contacts, build strong relationships and identify opportunities early. To do this successfully, you structure your own work effectively, enabling you to systematically generate, prioritize and progress leads
You stand out through a professional and confident demeanor, even in challenging situations. You work independently while staying closely connected to your team at headquarters, actively sharing feedback and contributing new ideas. With excellent German and good English skills, you are well equipped to help Northwave expand into new markets and win new customers
