For our Unit Risk Management we are seeking to appoint a International BCM Coordinator (d/f/m) based in our Cologne office starting as soon as possible.
Your Role
- Overall responsibility for the Business Continuity Management (BCM) framework
- Continuous development, maintenance, and enhancement of the BCM framework
- Ensuring the organization’s emergency and crisis operations in close coordination and alignment with key stakeholders such as IT, the business units, and other global BCM frameworks
- Operational leadership of the crisis management team in emergency situations, including coordination with executive management
- Design, documentation, and maintenance of business continuity and emergency plans for critical core processes in cooperation with key stakeholders such as IT and the business units (including disaster recovery aspects, and Incident Response communication strategies)
- Regular reporting on the status of BCM activities to executive management and within the global Operational Resilience Program and status to the BCM steering committee
- Responsibility of the crisis communication, including technical leadership, expertise, and administration of the emergency communication system (e.g. Everbridge)
- Planning, execution, and evaluation of regular BCM tests, exercises, and simulations; ensuring continuous improvement of plans and systems
- Participate in training and awareness sessions for employees to ensure effective implementation of business continuity strategies
Your Profile
- University degree in Business Administration, Business Informatics, Engineering or a comparable qualification
- At least 5 years of professional experience in Business Continuity Management and/or Crisis Management
- Very strong knowledge of Business Continuity Management frameworks and practices,
- Knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, standards, and norms relevant to Business Continuity Management
- Very good written and verbal proficiency in English – due to the international nature of the position,
- Good written and verbal proficiency in German
- Very good MS Office skills
