Project language: German & English (both mandatory)Tasks:
- Support the operational rollout of the global ServiceNow service catalog and service monitoring activities.
- Support the Local DC Lead and DC Operations Manager in daily operations and project-related activities.
- Coordinate and monitor hardware decommissioning activities across multiple international data center locations.
- Manage and track Smart Hands & Eyes activities, including racking, unracking, cabling, uncabling, migrations, and hardware disposal.
- Coordinate suppliers, service providers, and internal stakeholders involved in data center operations.
- Monitor incidents, changes, problems, requests, and SLA compliance within the data center environment.
- Maintain accurate documentation in ServiceNow and DCIM tools, including asset inventories and operational records.
- Support preventive and reactive maintenance activities within high-availability data center environments.
- Participate in Atlas project governance meetings and provide status updates on decommissioning activities.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, audits, compliance, and operational reporting.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Data Center Operations, Infrastructure Management, Technical Coordination, and Project Coordination.
- Extensive experience with ITIL processes and ServiceNow, especially CMDB, Change, Incident, Request Management, and Reporting.
- Hands-on experience with DCIM tools, particularly Sunbird dcTrack.
- Proven experience working in high-availability data center environments, including security, compliance, and documentation requirements.
- Experience managing large-scale hardware decommissioning projects and coordinating multiple vendors and service providers.
- Good understanding of asset management, inventory control, and physical data center operations.
- Experience with Power BI dashboard and report creation is an advantage.
- Fluent German and English skills, both written and spoken.
- Independent, structured, and solution-oriented working style.
