As Senior People Operations Manager (m/f/d) – Deputy Head of People & Organization, you will ensure that our day-to-day People Operations run professionally, reliably and efficiently.

Working closely with our Head of People & Organization, you will take ownership of operational HR topics, support employees and managers throughout the employee lifecycle and help her coordinate and lead the People Operations team.

People Operations & Team Leadership

• Take ownership of day-to-day People Operations and HR Administration across the IronMaxx Group
• Support the Head of People & Organization in leading, coordinating and developing the People Operations team
• Take formal people management responsibility for two remote HR Assistants
• Set clear priorities, responsibilities and expectations and ensure strong collaboration across onsite and remote team members
• Act as operational deputy and first point of contact for day-to-day People topics
• Support the team with complex HR topics and ensure reliable execution

Employee Lifecycle & HR Administration

• Ensure professional HR support throughout the employee lifecycle for more than 100 employees
• Coordinate onboarding, offboarding, contracts, personnel files, absences and HR documentation
• Ensure accurate and compliant employee data and processes
• Act as a trusted contact for employees and managers on operational HR matters

Manager Support & Employee Relations

• Support managers with day-to-day HR and employee-related topics
• Provide practical guidance on HR processes, labor law and internal policies
• Support employee meetings, performance topics and operational employee relations cases
• Escalate sensitive or complex matters where appropriate

Learning & Development

• Support learning and development initiatives based on the evolving needs of the organization
• Help coordinate trainings, development measures and related People processes
• Work closely with the Head of People & Organization and, where applicable, a dedicated Training Manager

Payroll, Reporting & Processes

• Coordinate monthly payroll preparation with internal stakeholders and external providers
• Oversee working-time, absence and employee-related data
• Prepare relevant HR KPIs and management reports
• Improve and standardize HR workflows, templates and responsibilities
• Support digitalization and automation of recurring HR processes

Your skillset - as strong as our protein

• 3+ years of experience in People Operations, HR Administration, HR Generalist or a comparable HR role
• Strong knowledge of the German employee lifecycle, including contracts, onboarding, absences and offboarding
• Good practical knowledge of German labor law
• Experience with payroll preparation, HR administration and personnel data
• Confidence in advising employees and managers
• Experience coordinating colleagues, projects or workstreams is an advantage
• Previous disciplinary leadership experience is not mandatory, but strong leadership potential and the ambition to grow into a leadership role are essential
• Ability to set priorities, provide direction and take ownership
• Structured, reliable and solution-oriented working style
• Strong interest in process improvement, digitalization and automation
• High level of discretion, integrity and service orientation
• Confident use of HR systems and MS Office
• Very good German and good English skills
