To strengthen our team, we are looking for a Information Protection Working Student (m/f/d) in our offices in Cologne.

What Will You Do

• Support information protection initiatives and projects
• Assist in maintaining governance documentation and internal standards
• Help update information protection templates, guidelines and procedures
• Support Information Protection Assessments, Monitoring and documentation
• Assist in maintaining Records of Processing Activities (RoPa) and AI Register
• Help track remediation actions resulting from audits and assessments
• Support evidence collection for internal and external audits
• Assist in preparing reports and KPI dashboards
• Support the development of awareness materials and communication campaigns
• Assist in organizing awareness events and training activities
• Create presentations, newsletters and communication materials
• Maintain internal SharePoint and knowledge repositories
• Support document management and version control
• Conduct research on regulatory and compliance topics
• Assist with meeting preparation, minutes and follow-up actions
• Support coordination with regional stakeholders across EMEA
  
  

Your Profile

• Currently enrolled in Law, Information Security, Data Science, Business Administration, Compliance, Information Technology or a comparable field of study.
• Strong interest in data protection, information security, compliance, governance, and emerging technologies such as AI.
• Good organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
• Comfortable working with Microsoft 365 applications, especially Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint.
• Good presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Confident English language skills.
• Proactive, eager to learn, and open to taking on new challenges.
• Able to adapt quickly to changing priorities and collaborate with stakeholders across different countries and functions.
• Previous work experience is not required; motivation and willingness to learn are what matter most.
