Software / AI Engineer - #2710517

We are seeking a Software / AI Engineer with strong communication skills and deep expertise in cloud services, AI, and workflow automation. You will design intelligent automation solutions using AWS services (Amazon Bedrock, Amazon Connect, Amazon Q), Large Language Models, and automation platforms. Working closely with various departments, you will identify automation opportunities, architect scalable solutions, and implement AI-driven processes that support our vision of a waste-free future.

Profile:

• Communication & Languages: Strong collaboration skills; able to present technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders. Fluent in English; German is a plus.
• Experience: 3 + years in software engineering, cloud development, or AI/ML automation. Degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• Programming & Cloud Skills: Strong proficiency in Python and/or JavaScript. Hands-on experience with AWS services (Lambda, Step Functions, Bedrock, Connect, S3, DynamoDB). Understanding of RESTful APIs, webhooks, and event-driven architectures.
• AI/ML & LLM Expertise: Experience with Amazon Bedrock and Amazon Q. Skilled in prompt engineering, RAG architectures, and building AI agents for production use cases.
• Data Handling: Familiarity with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (DynamoDB), plus experience with data pipelines and tools like Baserow or Airtable.

Bonus skills (Nice to have)

• Certifications & Infrastructure: AWS certifications (Solutions Architect, Developer, or ML specialty). Experience with Terraform, AWS CDK, or CloudFormation.
• Advanced AI & Other: Experience with SageMaker, vector databases, or custom ML pipelines. Background in sustainability tech or enterprise automation tools (Power Automate) is a plus.
