To strengthen our team, we are looking for a Enterprise Risk Management Working student (m/f/d) in our offices in Cologne.

What Will You Do

• Maintain and update the Enterprise Risk Register, collect risk information from different functions, check completeness and consistency of risk data.
• Prepare information and reporting in line with established mechanisms to inform relevant stakeholders on trends and developments.
• Support quartely reporting of the ERM performance according to Reporting Framework to Y-EMEA Management Board.
• Support documentation and maintenance of ERM policies, procedures, methodologies and templates.
• Regularly Perform and Maintain Risk Analysis with relevant stakeholders and report the results.
• Support risk owners during risk assessments, consolidate likelihood/impact assessments, prepare heat maps and risk rankings.
• Collect and monitor Key Risk Indicators (KRIs), compare actual values against thresholds and identify trends.
• Perform basic data analysis and trend analysis, identify recurring risks, incidents and emerging patterns.
• Identify and monitor on a regular basis trends and developments with impact to Y-EMEA Region.
• Conduct Business Impact Analysis for relevant topics.
• Collect operational incidents and loss events, classify them according to the risk taxonomy, analyze recurring causes.
• Support preparation of Risk Committee / Management Risk meetings, prepare presentations, minutes and action lists.
• Track mitigation measures, action owners and deadlines, follow up on overdue actions, maintain action plans.
• Track meeting minutes action plans.
  
  

Your Profile

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Enterprise Risk Management, Governance, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Law, or a related field.
• Strong interest in risk management, corporate governance, business processes, and organizational resilience.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and draw meaningful conclusions.
• Good organizational skills with a structured and detail-oriented way of working.
• Confident user of Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
• Fluent in English.
• Comfortable collaborating with stakeholders from different functions and international locations.
• Proactive, curious, and eager to learn in a dynamic international environment.
• Previous professional experience is not required; a willingness to learn and develop in the field of Enterprise Risk Management is essential.
