Manage commercial project orders and support customer relationships

Would you like to manage complex project orders from the tender phase through to successful completion? In this role, you will be responsible for the commercial administration of projects, working closely with internal stakeholders, customers, and business partners while contributing to the reliable delivery of challenging energy infrastructure projects. You will work in an international environment and support projects that play an important role in the green energy transition. Coordinate tenders and project orders from start to finish

In this role, you will oversee the complete commercial process, from tender preparation and contract management to invoicing and project execution. You will ensure that commercial processes run efficiently, coordinate internal interfaces, and support project management throughout all project phases. You will work with SAP, monitor schedules and costs, and maintain professional communication with customers and business partners.

Your Responsibilities Include

• Commercial management of customer orders from the quotation phase through to project completion
• Maintenance and administration of orders, project data, and commercial processes in SAP
• Support of project management in cost controlling, reporting, and documentation
• Coordination with Procurement, Logistics, Finance, and other internal interfaces
• Preparation and follow-up of invoices, guarantees, and financial securities
• Support in contract, change order, and claim management
• Monitoring of delivery schedules, incoming payments, and project-related key performance indicators (KPIs)

You will work closely with Project Management, Sales, and OOM. The position is based in Cologne and involves project-related coordination with internal and external stakeholders.

You work carefully and reliably and can maintain an overview even when managing multiple tasks simultaneously. You are comfortable interacting professionally with both internal and external stakeholders. You communicate clearly, take a solution-oriented approach, and have a strong service and customer focus. At the same time, you enjoy working collaboratively in a team while taking ownership of your responsibilities.

You Also Bring

• Completed apprenticeship in a recognized commercial or business-related profession
• One to three years of experience in commercial tendering and order management
• Knowledge of commercial contract management, invoicing, and commercial project administration
• Experience working with SAP
