Your mission

• Make sure our office is a great place to work at: Drive workplace initiatives and run day-to-day operations, from service provider management to package handling
• Be the friendly first point of contact: Welcome guests, customers and partners at our office.
• Own our accounting up to the hand-off to our tax advisor: Check and pay incoming invoices, issue outgoing invoices, follow up on open payments, and keep our bookkeeping clean.
• Drive our culture: Organize events and retreats that strengthen our team, from planning to execution.
• Challenge and improve the status quo: Make Roofline more efficient, from automating finance tasks to ideating leaner procurement flows.
  
  

Your profile

• Experience in office management and accounting, and completed commercial training (such as Kaufmann/Kauffrau für Büromanagement) or a business-related degree
• Hands-on experience in bookkeeping and invoice processing
• Confidence with accounting software such as DATEV, Lexoffice or similar
• A highly organized, reliable way of working, with an eye for detail
• A hands-on mentality: you see what needs to be done and take care of it
• Strong communication skills and a friendly, service-oriented attitude
• Fluent German and English (our team language is English)
• Confident use of common office tools (e.g. MS Office)
• Able to work on-site in central Cologne with a minimum of 25 hours across 4 days

• Experience with managing grant finances.
