About the role: We are looking for a Staff Engineer (m/f/d) to join our teams.

About tech stack: Java, NodeJS, Spring Boot, RMQ, MongoDB.

About Your Tasks

• Own and Build the eHealth Domain: Design and develop scalable, reliable solutions for managing orders across complex system landscapes.
• Build and Guide the Team: Establish a collaborative, autonomous team culture, mentor team members, and share your expertise to drive innovation.
• Enable Other Teams: Provide tools, strategies, and functionality to ensure seamless integration and enablement across engineering teams.
• Ensure Operational Excellence: Define KPIs and employ SRE practices to ensure reliability, observability and performance.
  
  

About You

• Proven Experience in SaaS Development: You have successfully designed and developed robust, highly available SaaS solutions that address complex business requirements.
• Strong Java Skills: You have a solid background in building reliable and scalable Java services, with expertise in system and software design principles.
• Expertise in Containerization and Orchestration: You are confident in using Docker and Kubernetes in production environments, ensuring efficient and reliable deployments.
• API Expertise: You know how to design, document, and maintain APIs that are intuitive, scalable, and effective for integration with other systems.
• Business Understanding and Communication Skills: You deeply understand business needs and are comfortable spending 50% of your day in meetings, translating technical solutions into business value—and business needs into technical solutions. You can present complex ideas to non-technical stakeholders in a way that resonates with them.
• Team Builder and Collaborator: You see engineering as a collaborative effort, fostering a culture of communication and trust, and working closely with others to achieve impactful results.

Remote Work Policy

Our offices are open, but you are free to work from home, from any location in Germany. It is entirely up to you if you want to pop into the office every now and again, or if you work from home all the time. At the same time, we value relationship between all members of the area and therefore we have regular team and area anchor days on which every team member is asked to come to the office.
