Key Responsibilities
The Partner Sales Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with large strategic partners to drive business growth. This includes defining partnership strategies, identifying new business opportunities, negotiating programs, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure effective implementation. The role requires strong strategic thinking, communication, and analytic skills, with a focus on achieving results in a dynamic environment.
- Develop Strategic Partnerships: Building and maintaining strong relationships with large strategic partners at all levels.
- Define Partnership Strategy: Developing and implementing short- and long-term strategies to growing your partner’s overall revenue according to Check Point’s strategic priorities.
- Business Development: Working with strategic partners to build, launch, and run managed service propositions.
- Coordination and Collaboration: Working closely with internal teams such as sales, marketing, sales engineering, and HQ-functions to ensure effective implementations of partner strategies.
- Market Analysis: Conduct market and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for new business areas.
- Budget and Pipeline Management: Planning and managing the budget for partner programs and continually building a pipeline of opportunities with partners and reporting on progress regularly.
- Performance Monitoring: Regularly monitor and analyze the performance of partner business and initiatives to measure success and identify areas for improvement.
- Training and Support: Provide training and support to strategic partners regarding company strategies, product, and services to ensure their success.
- 5+ years of proven track record in relationship-based partner account management, preferably in the IT industry and in a strategic role
- Ability to engage partners with professionalism and energy, fostering trust and collaboration
- Possess strong business acumen in channel sales management, including experience in developing and implementing strategic partnerships
- Strong analytic skills to evaluate market opportunities and develop growth strategies
- Experience in the IT industry, with a deep understanding of technology and market trends
- Knowledge of the cybersecurity industry is highly preferred, demonstrating your commitment to our field
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, enabling effective engagement with partners and internal stakeholders
- Fluency in both English and German
