Country Regulatory Manager – DACh
Location: Home Based in Germany
Our client, an international crop protection company, is looking for an experienced Country Regulatory Manager to take ownership of plant protection product registrations across the DACH region (Germany, Austria and Switzerland). This role is ideal for someone who enjoys combining hands‑on dossier work with strategic coordination, and who wants to directly influence which products reach farmers and when.
You will join a collaborative, international regulatory team and become the primary contact for national authorisations and applications for plant protection products in the DACH region. If you are looking for more autonomy, broader scope and the chance to see the impact of your regulatory decisions in the field, this position will be very attractive.
This role gives you genuine ownership of a clearly defined regional portfolio: you coordinate dossiers and submissions for plant protection products in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, which means you are not just “supporting” a process but actively steering which products are registered, when and under what conditions. That translates into a clear professional benefit, as your work directly shapes market access and product availability in three strategically important markets, giving you tangible results to point to in your career.
You will also be embedded in a strong, multidisciplinary regulatory and scientific network, working closely with internal experts and external partners such as authorities, institutes and CROs. This depth of collaboration allows you to broaden your expertise beyond basic dossier assembly, gain exposure to risk assessment, study planning and regulatory strategy, and ultimately build a more rounded regulatory profile that will keep your career options wide open across the agrochemical sector.
Finally, the company’s growth strategy in Europe, and particularly its commitment to strengthening its footprint in the DACH region, creates a real platform for development. As the regional organisation and portfolio expand, new responsibilities and projects naturally follow. For you, that means the opportunity to progress into broader regional roles, deepen your specialism in certain regulatory areas, or become a key point of reference for national authorities and internal stakeholders, all within a business that is actively investing in its European regulatory capability.
Key Responsibilities
This role is focused on the DACH region, with primary responsibility for Germany, Austria and Switzerland. The working environment is international and collaborative, with close links between regulatory, R&D, portfolio management and commercial teams. You will be joining a business that is actively expanding its European presence and consolidating its position in these core markets, which creates ongoing opportunities for professional growth and increasing responsibility.
The company offers structured development and exposure to a broad range of products and regulatory challenges across the DACH region. You can expect to see the direct impact of your work on national authorisations, market access and product launches, while contributing to more efficient and sustainable crop protection solutions for farmers.
